Hi Everyone,
Just got back from Sturbridge! What a great time we had! There were nine jurisdictions represented-all six New England states and three Canadian Provinces. I think New Hampshire's representation was about 25. The weather was great and everyone had a wonderful time at Old Sturbridge Village.
On Thursday, November 4, we will be in Goffstown for our second School of Instruction (7:00 PM). I think reservations may have closed for supper but check with the Secretary, Ellie Swindlehurst.
Saturday, November 6, will be our first Grand Family Exchange with the jurisdiction of Massachusetts. Registration will be 12:00, luncheon at 1:00, rehearsal at 2:30, degree at 3:30 with collation to follow. THERE WILL BE FOUR NEW MEMBERS INITIATED AND WE'D LOVE TO SEE A BIG TURNOUT!!!!!
The next School of Instruction will be Friday, November 12, in Kingston at 7:00 PM. There will not be a supper, but they are planning refreshments to follow.
The fourth and final School will be Saturday, November 13, in Lancaster. Coffee and donuts at about 9:30. Luncheon reservations to Mary Janenga.,br>
Don't forget Grand Representatives at Harts on Sunday, November 14!
Our next Grand Family Exchange will be with Vermont in Westerly, RI on Saturday, November 20TH. Sister Hollie is finalizing the bus trip for this and we still have a few seats left if you'd like to go but don't want to drive. THERE WILL BE TWO NEW MEMBERS INITIATED IN RHODE ISLAND!!!
Sunday, November 28, is the Unity Party at the Bektash Temple. I still have tickets if anyone would like to go.
That takes care of November, I think and will give us just enough time for a deep breath before we host Vermont in Littleton on December 4! The next meeting of the Pathfinders will be Sunday, December 5, at Pleiades Chapter #41 in Pittsfield. Social 1:30, dinner 2:00, meeting to follow. Reservations to Marcia Stockman.
We are fast coming in to the holidays and I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know that many of us do things within our own communities to assist those less fortunate -- try to remember others. They do appreciate it so very much.
In Fraternal Love, Carol
