Hi Everyone,
Winter has finally arrived, so now we have snow and extreme cold weather. I'd really rather have warmer temps and no snow. I guess that's what happens as we get older.
Great news from Arizona! As many of you know, Barbara Bissell had a lumpectomy for a cancerous breast lump. I have just received an e-mail from her telling me that the lymph nodes were negative. This is fabulous news and means she won't have to have chemotherapy. She will have to have six weeks of radiation therapy and some physical therapy, so prayers are still in order on this!
This weekend we are heading to Connecticut on our second bus trip! I wonder if it will be as wild as the first one! Everyone had such a great time! We will, in fact, be initiating one of Swede and Joan Lindell's daughters while we are there.
Visitations are in full swing. Come on out and support the officers of the Chapters. They work so hard and deserve the support!!
I may think of something else, but right now I'm headed off to work (my new job).
See you soon!
Love to all, Carol
