October and November have flown by and December is upon us! We have just gotten back from a bus trip to Rhode Island and had a wonderful time with our friends from the Southern part of New England. It sure was warmer down there. While there, we stopped at the Mystic Marine Life Aquarium and some had a little shopping trip at Old Mystic Village! While in Rhode Island, we participated in a three-way exchange on two new members. New Hampshire's Grand Officers - Associate Grand Patron, Grand Chaplain. Grand Adah, Grand Esther, Grand Sentinel did a wonderful job! If you missed this exchange you will have another opportunity to see them all do the work in Kennebunk, Maine on January 8th. They work very hard and are worth seeing!!!!!
It doesn't seem possible that Christmas is right around the corner, but the calendar tells me that this is so! I haven't even started shopping yet!!!!! Always try to remember those less fortunate, whether it be in your Chapters or in the community. It's a great feeling to make someone elses' day!
We have an exciting new committee on the Grand Chapter level this year - the Youth Committee!! Letters from the Chairman, Sister Charlotte Leavitt, and her committee will be out shortly! The goal is to really try to make a difference and we'd like to see everyone jump on the "bandwagon."
The Grand Marshal is working on a bus trip to Connecticut in February and the Grand Chaplain is working on a trip to Niagara in June. Let either of them know if you'd like to join us!
Happy and wonderful holidays to all! God Bless!
Love, Carol
