Order of the Eastern Star

Line

The Order of the Eastern Star, dedicated to Charity, Truth and Loving kindness, is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women may belong. Only men who are Masons are eligible and only women with specific Masonic affiliations may be members.

The members of the Order of the Eastern Star are dedicated women and men who sincerely reflect the spirit of fraternal love and the desire to work together for good. The charitable nature of our Order is evidenced by the millions of dollars which have been raised to support Cancer Research, Arthritis & Rheumatism, the Heart Fund, the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children, and many other charities within each Grand Jurisdiction.

We are proud of our Order's heritage. Thousands of our members have contributed their time, energy and wisdom in unselfish service to our Order, and for the good of the world. It is through this fraternal service to humanity, that we build a better life for all.

This year, our state leaders, the Worthy Grand Matron, Worthy Grand Patron, and Grand Marshal have chosen the following as their special projects: 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Learning Centers for Dyslexic Children.

The Grand Chapter of NH, Order of the Eastern Star, takes an active role with the youth organizations of our state. We are the primary sponsor of the NH Grand Assembly, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. We also support the NH Chapter of the Order of DeMolay. Both of these youth groups help build young women and men into the future leaders of our country. We are proud to be able to assist these young people in any way possible.
